In 2020, Westpac underwent a comprehensive rebrand with completely refreshed colour palette, imagery style, tone of voice and brand expression. This required a great deal of design translation across all areas of the digital channels. This included the updating of governance documentation to capture new component styles for use with internal design teams and stakeholders.
I was tasked with contributing to this documentation, specifically for new web components, including desktop and mobile specs, typography, use cases, restrictions and best practice guidelines.
